Aquapox: Abrasion and Chemical Resistant Water-Based Epoxy Coating
Aquapox: Abrasion and Chemical Resistant Water-Based Epoxy Coating
Aquapox is a water-based, two-component epoxy resin coating designed for applications requiring high mechanical and chemical resistance on interior floor and wall surfaces. Its low VOC content, solvent-free structure, and virtually odorless formula allow for safe application, especially in enclosed and ventilated areas.

Aquapox is offered in two components: epoxy resin (component A) and amine-based hardener (component B). The mixing ratio is 4.8:1 by volume, and it should be mixed with a low-speed mixer for a minimum of 3 minutes before application until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. The post-mixing reaction time for the system is approximately 2 hours at 20°C.
Application Areas and Resistance Profile
Aquapox offers long-lasting performance, particularly in areas subject to high pedestrian and vehicle traffic, chemical cleaning, and contact with oil and fuel. It is suitable for use in environments such as industrial production areas, food processing and storage areas, vehicle garages and parking lots, water tanks, laboratory and maintenance rooms, drainage channels, and technical service areas. Aquapox provides resistance to many industrial chemicals, including hydrocarbons, aliphatic solvents, cleaning chemicals, salt solutions, and mildly acidic and alkaline environments.
Physical and Chemical Resistance Properties
It offers high abrasion resistance against heavy loads, impact, and friction on concrete floors. After fully curing, it becomes completely impermeable to water and moisture, while also providing superior resistance to aggressive chemicals such as solvents, fuel, engine oil, detergents, and disinfectants. Its water-based structure contains no flammable solvents, making this product safe to apply without risking fire. Its near-zero VOC content and virtually odorless formula make it suitable for use indoors, especially in areas where air quality is critical.
Aquapox becomes an ideal solution in terms of both performance and user and environmental friendliness.
