Restore Desalt: Effective Solution for Surfaces Contaminated with Soluble Salts!
Restore Desalt is a mortar that provides an effective desalination process by applying it to natural stone, brick, concrete, masonry structures and plastered surfaces that are exposed to contamination with soluble salts, by extraction method at a depth and/or on the surface depending on the porosity and structure of the surface.
The Foundation of the Cleaning Process: Effective Removal of Salts with Pure Water!
Its basic operating principle is based on the movement of soluble salts to the surface through prolonged contact with the surface and the use of pure water to facilitate dissolution. The paste used for application contains natural materials such as high-purity cellulose, suitable for use on natural and artificial stone surfaces.
No Harmful Chemicals: Safe Application with Natural Ingredients!
The mixture does not contain chemicals that could damage water-soluble materials or the applied substances. Furthermore, the product can be easily removed from the surface after extraction, leaving no residue that cannot be easily removed by gentle scrubbing.
Surface Preparation: Achieve Optimal Results with Cleaning Steps!
Surface: Remove all surface residue by hand-brushing with a soft-bristled brush. In particular, remove salt efflorescence and dust deposits. This will prepare the surface for the removal of soluble salts. To increase the effectiveness of the treatment, first spray the surface with distilled water and wait 15 minutes to allow the water to penetrate the pores.
Application Time and Performance: Tips for Best Results!
The typical application time is 48 hours, but this time can vary depending on the type of surface and the contamination level of the material. To optimize the application time, we recommend applying the paste to the surface and performing conductivity measurements on the saline solution extracted from the paste samples taken at regular intervals. Once the extraction process is complete, the dried paste, containing the extracted salts, can be manually removed from the surface with a spatula. A soft-bristled brush or a soft, damp sponge can be used to remove surface residue.
NOTE: Before application, it is recommended to first perform diagnostic tests on a specific area to determine if there is any product such as wax residue, polymer-based preservatives, film-forming paint or other materials, water repellent, etc. on the surface.
